I’m British and live in France with my husband Michel, our dogs and cat. Since I adopted my first dog from the breeding industry - aka puppy farms/mills - in 2011 I’ve been writing about dogs. I’m a little obsessed. My writing is my way of contributing to the hope for a better world for all dogs, but especially those caught up in the modern business of dog breeding. One which is rife with criminality, greed and neglect.

But, when it comes to adopting these dogs, there is a lot to love to celebrate, to write with happiness about. And that’s what I do.

I also, with a small but brilliant volunteer team run a UK charity, Schnauzerfest, and my writing here allows me to give behind the scenes access to some of its work.

My five books are available from the charity with sales donated to help it continue its work. Some are also available from the usual outlets and I donate my royalties.
